So i'm putting myself out there - i'm single and looking for
alternatives to the "traditional" ways of meeting people. I'm also a
bit of a control freak and like the fact that we can read all about
each other before we decide to meet. I have a pretty keen sense of
what it means to be happy and content with someone, and I believe a
big part of that starts with chemistry from jump. I'm a smart woman
who often gets categorized as serious and conservative. I'm not (the
latter two). I can be for work and other appropriate situations, but
I'm down-to-earth and have a hard time tolerating people who are not.
I grew up taking ballet, going to museums with my mother, and I'm that
chick who will buy a ticket to go see the Kodo Drummers at BAM by
myself if I can't find a friend to go.
I am looking for a man with a great sense of humor because I have a
pretty good one myself. I believe happiness is something you should
seek to maintain from within, and I'm attracted to a man who seeks his
own happiness irrespective of whether he has a woman in his life. I
enjoy traveling and have visited several countries. I would enjoy
meeting someone who has already traveled some - it shows an inherent
interest in new experiences and different cultures. Ultimately, I hope
to meet someone who is kind, smart, funny, non-judgmental/open-minded,
